If its odd number then we need to to take x,x+1,x+3,x+5.... why we are taking even number?

    mastguru 11 years ago replied

    Hello Tanvee,
We are taking X as an odd number,
so, other consecutive odd number will be x+2 and another will x+4 and so on..

Lets say 1 is odd number, then next will 1+2 =3, 1+4 =5.. and so on.
In this way we are solving this problem.

Thanks Nagendar. It was a typing mistake. Question was about four consecutive odd numbers.

    We appreciate your feedback.

here x is an even number. but you got x=21(which is not even number). so consecutive even numbers are: 2x,2x+2,2x+4,2x+6.
