- Fill in the blanks– The Double space fill up is quite expected to be asked in the exam i.e. – you are required to find and fill the correct options for more than one space in them.

(i) Read the statement carefully and choose the syllable from the options which is suitable for the answer.
(ii) Use the technique of elimination by simultaneously checking which of the options best satisfies both the entries in them.
(iii) Also, you must ensure that the syllable you have inserted in the blank enables you to read the sentence smoothly and correctly.

- Para Jumbles Sentences– The objective of these types of sentences are to rearrange the sentences in the original sequence as they are. It consists of a clout of sentences that have been jumbled up. 5 or 6 sentences are given in a abstract order and you have to un-jumble all of them from the course.
Tips to solve Para Jumble for RBI GRADE B Officer –
(i) Try to gauge the basic idea of the given passage in exam. It will not only help you to arrange sentences quickly but also will help you identify the logical connection between the sentences.
(ii) Mostly, the given information in the jumbled sentences changes from general to specific. If you observe closely, you can see that the first few sentences are generic while those that follow are fact-specific and informative in them.
(iii) Many times, a good knowledge of option analysis helps to rule out the possible answers from the given options as well. This trick will save a lot of time from being wasted.
(iv) The key is to find the first sentence quickly - It gives us a linear direction with respect to the given content in them.
(v) On the Similar note, guessing the concluding sentence will give you both the ends of the linear connecting idea.
(vi)Sentence denoting time, place & name are the most probable opening lines in them.

- Spotting the Error – In this particular topic you have to find the correct alternatives which may improve the sentence overall. Sometimes there is no correction required then your answer will have no improvement in it.
Tips to solve Spotting Error for RBI GRADE B Officer –
(i) Read the original sentence very carefully and try to spot the grammatical errors by identifying whether something “sounds” wrong.
(ii) Always look at every choice which is given in exam.
(iii) Even when the original sentence seems quite fine, pay attention to the grammar that it tests and looks through the choices systematically to see if any of it provides a better option.
(iv) As you locate each error, try to eliminate all of the choices that contain that error in them.
(v) Try not to read each answer choice back into the sentence individually; that wastes much of your time and invites inaccuracy.
(vi) Instead, you must identify the differences among the choices and eliminate those that offer less effective or grammatically incorrect alternatives in them.
- Close Test– A passage with 10 blanks is quite expected to come in the Exam. In this test you are provided with a long passage with few blanks and you need to fill these blanks from the given options in them.
Tips to solve Close Test for RBI GRADE B Officer –
(i) In the passage mostly all sentences are logically related to each other. These logic’s will give you an idea about the appropriate word for the blank space in them.
(ii) Sometimes you can easily spot the correct answer in it. If not, then eliminate the improbable options one by one and get the correct answer from it.
(iii) Find a logical relation between all the provided options in them.
