Rawatbhata Nuclear Power Plant in Rajasthan made history by running continuously for a period 765 days
Indigenously made nuclear plant in Rajasthan, Rawatbhata Nuclear Power Plant has created history by running continuously for a period 765 days. You might be thinking whats about making history in this, actually most nuclear plants usually need to shut down every year for maintenance, only very well maintained nuclear plants with good facilities can run for longer than a year.
By this record India's plant has beaten the record of American unit which ran for 739 days. India's Rawatbhata Nuclear Power Plant is now ranked on number two position as Number one position is held by Ontario Power Corporation's Pickering-7 plant, Canada as It operated for 894 days continuously.
Professional services firm KPMG to validate number of accounts opened by banks under Jan Dhan Yojana
KPMG, a professional services firm has been hired by finance ministry to validate the accounts opened under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY). Thus it will be helping the Finance Ministry to assert that all bank accounts are accurate.
Under this PMJDY, the Government is looking to open at least 7.5 crore basic bank accounts.
