14th India-EU Summit were signed by India and - European Union
The 14th annual Summit between India and the European Union (EU) was held in New Delhi on 6th October 2017.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi represented India and the EU was represented by Donald Tusk, President of the European Council, and Jean Claude Juncker, President of the European Commission at the summit. The summit oversaw discussions on a host of issues including ways to remove hurdles for the long-pending free trade agreement.The wide-ranging cooperation under the India-EU Strategic Partnership reviewed by the leaders.
Further, recognising that India and the European Union are natural partners, the leaders reaffirmed their commitment to further deepen and strengthen the India-EU Strategic Partnership based on shared principles and democracy, freedom, rule of law and respect for human rights and territorial integrity of States values.
