Vibrant Gujarat Global Investor Summit 2015 got US as partner
On 3rd November 2014, Vibrant Gujarat Global Investor Summit 2015 got a new partner country as United States (US). Thus US became eighth partner country as UK, Netherlands, Canada, Australia, Singapore, South Africa and Japan are already there.
In this event members of US India Business Counsil (USBIC) and CEOs of Fortune 500 companies will also take part.

To support the Make in India Initiative MoU signed between Union Ministry of MSME and ILO
On 3rd November 2014, The Union Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) and the International Labour Organization (ILO) to support Make in India Initiative. This MoU has been signed initially for five year period which will form the basis of technical partnership with the primary objective of creating more and better quality employment in India. This will also focus on research and knowledge building.
BSP National General Secretary Akhilesh Das Gupta resigned
Among the important Political Current Affairs, On 3rd November 2014, BSP (Bahujan Samaj Party) national general secretary and Rajya Sabha MP Akhilesh Das Gupta resigned from party. His Rajya Sabha term is also about to end in November 2014.

FIH honoured Narinder Batra with Presidents Award
On 4th November 2014, The Hockey India chief Narinder Batra was honoured with the prestigious President's Award by the International Hockey Federation at a function held at Morocco. Italian Valentina Quaranta was also awarded with this award. These two were awarded with this award for their valuable services to the sports.
Important to mention here that few days ago Narinder Batra was included in the FIH Executive Board.
Drawings belonging to Harappan era discovered near Hampi, Karnataka
Approx 20 drawings related to Harappan era was discovered by experts in Gondi dialect near Hampi, Karnataka. These were found on the top of a hill near Talwarghatta which is near to Tungbhadra river.
Cricketer Bhuvneshwar Kumar wins LG People's Choice award
Among the Important Sports Current Affairs, On 5th November 2014, fast bowler from Indian Cricket Team Mr. Bhuvneshwar Kumar won LG People's Choice Award 2014.
In 2010 Sachin Tendulkar became first recipient of this award then after in 2011 and 2012 Kumar Sangakkara of Sri Lanka won this award and In 2013 this award went to Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
CERN appoints Fabiola Gianotti as its first Female head
On 4th November 2014, Italian physicist Fabiola Gianotti was appointed as first woman chief of CERN particle physics research centre, which is a top global institution of a particular field.
She will be succeeding Rolf Heuer in January 2016.
CERN is an institution where European Organization for Nuclear Research, physicists and engineers are probing the fundamental structure of the universe by using world's largest and most complex scientific instruments. There they are studing basic constituents of matter - the fundamental particles.
HDFC became first listed Indian company to have more than 75% shareholding by FIIs
Among the Important Banking Current Affairs, Mortgage financier HDFC became first listed Indian company among 30 Sensex firm which is having more than 75 % shareholding by FIIs (Foreign Institutional Investors).
In July-September quarter FII's raised their stake in the company to a record high of nearly 78%, which make it in news.
