India inked MoU with which country for defence shipbuilding - South Korea
On 21st April 2017, India and South Korea inked MoU to enhance cooperation in the field of defence shipbuilding.
From Indian side Ashok Kumar Gupta, Secretary Defence Production and from South Korea side Chang Myong Jin was present at occasion.
This will also enhance strategic partnership between two countries.
Who won UNESCO Peace Prize - Italian mayor Giuseppina Nicolini
On 19th April 2017, Mayor of the Italian island of Lampedusa was awarded with UNESCO Peace prize. This prize is known as Félix Houphouët-Boigny Peace Prize.
He was presented with this award for this efforts in saving the lives of migrants and refugees.

Félix Houphouët-Boigny Peace Prize was started in 1989 during the 25th session of General Conference of UNESCO, as it was supported by 120 countries.
This award is for the honour of People or Institutions who make significant contribution to promoting, seeking, safeguarding or maintaining peace.
E-auction of which hotel in Delhi was approved by Supreme Court - Taj Mansingh Hotel
On 20th April 2017, Supreme Court of India approved eauction of Taj Mansingh Hotel in Delhi so now NDMC ( New Delhi Municipal Corporation ) will able to e auction this property. As of now this hotel is managed by IHCL ( Indian Hotels Co. Ltd ) which is owned by TATA Group.
In 1976 NDMC and IHCL inked an agreement to construct and run five star hotel and this agreement was finised in 2011.
Name of first female MBBS doctor from Indore who was presented with Padma Shri - Bhakti Yadav
On 20th April 2017, Dr. Bhakti Yadav was presented with Padma Shri award as she was unable to attend the function organised in New Delhi on 13th April. She is first female MBBS doctor from Indore and is popular with the name of Doctor Didi.
She has treated many patients selflessly and in free during her long career. Gynaecologist Dr. Bhakti Yadav is 91 years old now.
Which type of sports will be played as a medal event in 2022 Asian Games - E-Sports
Among Important Sports Current Affairs, In April Olympic Council of Asia announced a partnership with Alisports to introduce esports as a medal game. Esports will be introduced as demonstration sport at 2018 Asian Games in Indonesia and will be made as medal game in 2022. Thus these games will become one step closer to be a part of Olympic Games.
