India inked pact with which country to avoid double social security contribution - Australia

India signed a pact with Australia with an aim to avoid double social security contribution. As per this agreement employees of India deputed to Australia and vice versa will not have to make double social security contribution.

Who was confered with France's Knight of the Legion of Honour - Tikka Shatrujit Singh

On 17th March 2016, Tikka Shatrujit Singh was conferred with the Chevalier de la Legion d'Honneur (Knight of the Legion of Honour). Tikka Shatrujit Singh is royal scion of Ahluwalia dynasty of Kapurthala. This was given to him by French ambassador to India Francois Richier in a ceremony held in New Delhi.

Which bank became first to the sale of Indian Gold Coin (IGC) in the domestic market - Indian Overseas Bank

Among Important Banking and Financial Current Affairs, Indian Overseas Bank has became first bank to commence the sale of Indian Gold Coin in the domestic market. Bank has tied up with MMTC for the sale of these coins which are 24 carat purity. On one side of coin the Ashok Chakra is engraved while on other side face of Mahatma Gandhi is there.
