First batch of women fighter pilots inducted in - Indian Air Force
Among Important National Current Affairs, On 18th June 2016, First batch of Women fighter pilots was inducted in Indian Air Force.
Three brave Indian pilots who are part of first batch their names are :- Avani Chaturvedi,
- Bhawana Kanth and
- Mohana Singh
Each fighter pilots has about 150 hours of flying, now they will undergo training for six months on advanced jet fighters.

Among important MoUs, On 16th June 2016, India inked two MoUs with Namibia with an aim to capacity building for civil servants of Namibia and to set up of centre of excellence in Information and Communications Technology.
These MoUs were inked in the presence of President of India Shri Pranab Mukherjee and President of Namibia Hage Geingob.

AICTE inked agreement with which tech gaint to build app for SWAYAM platform of HRD Ministry - Microsoft
On 17th June 2016, Microsoft inked an agreement with AICTE to provide a mobile application for Union Human Resources Ministry's SWAYAM.
This platform will be launching 2000 online courses for students. AICTE will be overtaking this app once it will be completed.

On 17th June 2016, Union Ministry of AYUSH released a song named as Yog Geet with an aim to celebrate International Yoga Day.
This song has been sung by Gandhar TD Jadhav and Gatha Jadhav. Deeraj Saraswat has written and produced this song and composed by Sumanto Ray.
