Who won first Medal for India at Rio Olympics - Wrestler Sakshi Malik
Among Important Sports Current Affairs, Freestyle wrestler Sakshi Malik won first medal at 2016 Rio Olympic Games. She won Bronze medal in 58kg category.
Important to mention here that she is first Indian woman wrestler to win an Olympic medal.
Sakshi Malik defeated Aisuluu Tynybekova of Kyrgyzstan by 8-5 points to won this medal.

They defeated Jonathan Erlich (Israel) and Ken Skupski (England) to won this title.

Airlander 10 which is world's largest aircraft has made its maiden flight at an airfield in Cardington in central England. It has been created by Hybrid Air Vehicles and it is a hybrid airship. This plane is important in current affairs as it is partly plane and partly airship which is filled with helium gas. It is total 43.5 m wide and 92 m long. It is capable to fly upto 4880 metres and can achieve a speed of 148 kilometres per hour.
