Largest tribal religious congregation of world 'Sammakkaa Saarakka' began

The largest tribal religious congregation of the world "Sammakkaa Saarakka Fair" began in Andhra Pradesh at Medaram in Warangal district of the Telangana region on 12 February 2014.  Sammakkaa Saarakka Fair is also known as Jatara. 

Important to note :

Sammakkaa Saarakka is a 4-day biennial fair which is celebrated to pay tribute to the tribal warrior Sammakka and her daughter Saaralamma Saaralamma who sacrificed their lives while fighting against the army of Kakatiya dynasty to protect their people.
