Justice Mukul Mudgal appointed as Chief of Broadcast Content Complaints Council

Former Chief Justice of Punjab & Haryana High Court, Justice Mukul Mudgal was appointed as the chief of the Broadcast Content Complaints Council (BCCC). 

The appointment was approved by the Indian Broadcasting Foundation (IBF), an association of channels. 

He will replace Justice A P Shah, former Chief Justice of Delhi High Court as Justice A P Shah has been appointed as head of the Law Commission of India.

Important to note : 

Justice Mukul Mudgal also headed the Committee that was set up by the Supreme Court to probe into IPL spot-fixing and has given report recently.
