India’s first international arbitration centre inaugurated in - Mumbai
Among Important National Current Affairs, The first International Arbitration Centre of India was inaugurated in Mumbai, Maharashtra with an aim to provide an arbitration platform for Indian business houses to negotiate commercial disputes.
Here, the Mumbai Centre for International Arbitration (MCIA) was launched by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
However, with this Maharashtra now becomes the first state in the country to clear policy for institutional arbitration.
Also it is considered as a major step towards making Mumbai an International Financial Services Centre (IFSC).
World Post Day 2016 observed with theme - Innovation, Integration and Inclusion
Among Important International Current Affairs, on 9th October 2016 World Post Day was observed across the world with the theme Innovation, Integration and Inclusion.
However, the aim of World Post Day is to bring awareness to the Post's role in the everyday lives of people and businesses, as well as its contribution to global social and economic development.
Union Government set up which cell - Public Debt Management Cell
Among Important National Current Affairs, the Union Finance Ministry has set up a Public Debt Management Cell (PDMC) with the main objective of deepening bond markets in the country.
However, PDMC will streamline government borrowings and better cash management for deepening bond markets.
Which company ranked 19th in Biopharmaceutical Competitiveness & Investment (BCI) Survey - Indian Pharma Company
Indian pharmaceutical companies, which have ranked low at 19th position with an overall score of 59 out of 100 among in the Biopharmaceutical Competitiveness & Investment (BCI) Survey.
However, this survey of 28 countries was commissioned by the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America and executed by the Pugatch Consilium. It was third edition of survey.
