India signed an agreement on Mutual Protection of Classified Information with which country - Spain
On 5th March 2015, India and Spain signed an agreement on Mutual Protection of Classified Information with an aim to provide the framework for enhanced bilateral cooperation in many areas viz, defence research, development and technology cooperation.
Defence Minister of India Manohar Parrikar and Defence Minister of Spain Pedro Morenes Eulate signed this aggrement during the official visit of defence minister of Spain to India.
Vinod Mehta passed away, he was associated with - Media (Former Outlook editor-in-chief)
On 8th March 2015, Distinguished Editor and commentator Vinod Mehta passed away. He was 73 years old and died after a prolonged illness at AIIMS, New Delhi.
Vinod Mehta founded Outlook magazine and was Editorial Chairman of same.
He was born in Rawalpindi (now in Pakistan) in 1942 and was known for his bold journalism.

G Karthikeyan passed away, he was speaker of which assembly - Kerala Assembly
On 7th March 2015, Senior Congress leader and Kerala Assembly Speaker G Karthikeyan passed away. He was 66 years old. He was diagnosed with liver cancer and was undergoing treatment in Banglore. He was a prominent Congress leader in Kerala.
Which Project of China was temporarily suspended by Sri Lanka - Colombo Port City Project
On 5th March 2015, China's port city project in Colombo was in news as it was temporarily suspended by Sri Lankan Government with immediate effect.
This decision was taken after a meeting of Cabinet which was chaired by Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe. An Interim report had alleged that this mega real estate deal with China was signed without following the proper procedures and was implemented without relevant approvals.
