Who has been awarded with Krutitava Smagra Samman - Padma Sachdev 

Among the important National Current Affairs, On 6th March 2016, Krutitava Smagra Samman for the year 2015 was awarded to renowned Dogri poetess and writer Padma Sachdev by Bharatiya's Bhasha Parishad for her outstanding contribution in literature and great service to Dogri Language.

West Bengal Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi presented her with the award. 

About Padma Sachdev

• She writes both in he national language Hindi and her mother tongue Dogri.
• She also writes an occasional article in Hindi for newspapers and journals.
• She was awarded for her first collection of Dogri poetry title Mere Kavita, Mere Geet (1969) with the the Sahitya Akademi Award.
• Apart from this, she also has won Raja Ram Mohan Roy Puraskar, the Jammu & Kashmir Government’s Robe of Honour, Hindi Academy Puraskar, Soviet Land Nehru Award, U.P. Hindi Academy Pruaskar and Joshua Poetry Award.

Name the inventor of E-mail who has passed away - Ray Tomlinson

On 6th March 2016, the inventor of E-mail and the man who picked @symbol for addresses, Raymond Samuel Tomlinson passed away in Washington at the age of 74.

In the year 1971, he invented a program for ARPANET, that allowed to send person to person messages to other computer users on other servers.

In the year 2000, the American Computer Museum presented him with the George R. Stibitz Computer Pioneer Award. Apart from this, he had also received the Eduard-Rhein Cultural Award, Innovation award from Discover magazine and Webby Award.

He was inducted into the Internet Hall of Fame by the Internet Society in the year 2012.

Which team has won Asia Cricket Cup - India

Among the important Sports Current Affairs, On 6th March 2016, for the record sixth time, the Asia Cup was won by Indian cricket team led by Mahendra Singh Dhoni after defeating Bangladesh.
