Which team won Copa America tournament 2015 - Chile
Among Sports Affairs, On 4th July 2015, Copa America tournament 2015 was lifted by Chile. Chile defeated Argentina by 4-1 on penalties to win the this prestigious tournament. In Finals Chile reached four times but this was the first it lifted the title.
This was the 44th Edition of COPA America title. This time it was played in Chile itself.

On 4th July 2015, International Day of Cooperatives was observed. It is observed on first saturday of every july. Theme of International Day of Cooperatives 2015 was "Choose co-operative, choose equalityInternational Day of Cooperatives".
In 1992 United Nations General Assembly declared first saturday of july as International Day of Cooperatives with an aim to Highlight the complementarily of the goals and objectives of the United Nations and the international cooperative movement and also to strengthen and extend partnerships between the international cooperative movement and other actors.
Name of Indian biologist who was elected to Royal Society - Kamal Bawa
Noted Indian biologist and ecologist Kamal Bawa has been elected to the prestigious Royal Society. He has been elected for his pioneering contributions in the area of conservation science. Currently he is serving as Biology professor at the University of Massachusetts in Boston.

Who topped the UPSC examination to select IAS and IPS officers - Ira Singhal
Much awaited result of UPSC was out and Ira Singhal of Delhi was the topper of this prestigious exam. Renu Raj of Kerala was on second place while Nidhi Gupta of Delhi secured third place.
A total of 1236 candidates have been recommended for appointment in various central government services which includes 590 in general category, 354 belonging to OBC, 194 from SC and 98 from ST. 254 candidates are in the waiting list.
