Bilateral Meeting Between External Affairs Minister of India and Jordan held on - 30th December 2017
External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and her Jordanian equivalent Ayman Al Safadi organized a
bilateral conference in New Delhi and debated upon deepening bilateral links across various sectors.Mr Safadi debated steps to form a strong program for deepening and expanding areas of coordination in
the areas of trade and investment, defence and security and people-to- people relations.Start-up Incubation Centre to be launched by - Nirmala Sitharaman
Nirmala Sitharaman inaugurated a start-up incubation centre known as the Centre for Entrepreneurship Opportunities and Learning in Mangaluru, Karnataka.
She allotted Rs. 1.5 crore from her Member of Parliament's Local Area Development scheme for the progress of Centre for Entrepreneurship Opportunities and Learning centre. She symbolize Karnataka as an MP in the Rajya Sabha.
31 satellites in single mission to be launched by - ISRO
Indian Space Research Organisation(ISRO) has declared to start 31 satellites, including India's Cartosat-2 series Earth Observation spacecraft, in a single mission onboard its Polar rocket on 10th January 2018 .
The journey will be the 1st Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle mission after the failed initiation of navigation
satellite IRNSS-1H in August current year. The journey's main equipment would be India's Cartosat-2 series earth observation satellite.
PSLV-C40 will be utilised for the release from the spaceport in Andhra Pradesh's Sriharikota. The journey would be a joint action of 28 nanosatellites from foreign nations, including US, Finland and 1 micro and nanosatellite from India along with 1 Cartosat satellite.
