Who all leaders will be there in PM Modi’s swearing-in ceremony ?
Mr. Narendra Modi will be taking oath for his second term as Prime Minister on 30th May. The oath-taking ceremony will be attended by the leaders of the the President of Kyrgyzstan, BIMSTEC Member Countries, Sooronbay Jeenbekov, and Mauritius Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth.
After receiving the formal invitation from India, BIMSTEC countries leaders along with Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov and Mauritian Prime Minister Pravind Kumar Jugnauth have also confirmed their attendance at the oath-taking ceremony of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 30th May.
Important Highlights
- Bangladeshi President Abdul Hamid, Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena, Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov, and Myanmarese President U Win Myint will also be attending the ceremony to be held this evening.
- Mauritius Prime Minister Pravind Kumar Jugnauth, Nepali Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli, Bhutanese Prime Minister Lotay Tshering and Thailand’s Special Enovy Grisada Boonrach will also be seen witnessing the ceremony.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be sworn-in soon along with his new Council of Ministers. President Ram Nath Kovind will be administering the Oath of Office and Secrecy to Modi and his new Council of Ministers in a function at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi. The BIMSTEC Member Countries, Sooronbay Jeenbekov, the President of Kyrgyzstan and Mauritius Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth will be attending this ceremony.
The BIMSTEC leaders most likely to be seen in the ceremony are Bangladeshi President Abdul Hamid, Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena, Myanmarese President U Win Myint, Nepali Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli, Bhutanese Prime Minister Lotay Tshering and Thailand’s Special Enovy Grisada Boonrach.

What is the rank of India in IMD World Competitiveness Rankings-2019 ? - 43rd Rank
India is ranked 43 as most competitive economy in the world in IMD World Competitiveness Rankings for 2019. So far Singapore is at first place, whereas US has slipped to third place and India has moved one level up as compared to the last declared ranking.
Major Highlights
• This IMD World Competitiveness Ranking involve 235 indicators from each of the 63 ranked economies.
• Hong Kong SAR has secured second place.
• Switzerland is at the fourth place.
• The UAE has entered the top five for the first time earlier back in 2016 it was ranked 15th.
• Venezuela is still at 63rd rank which is the bottom of the ranking due to inflation, poor access to credit and a weak economy in the country.
