Projects worth Rs 60000 crore luanched in Lucknow by - PM Narendra Modi

On 29th July 2018, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched projects worth Rs 60000 crore in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. This hefty amount has been approved for total 81 projects.

Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath were present on this event along with many business tycoons. Government aims to create Approx 2 lakh jobs through it. Reliance Jio will invest 10000 crore while BSNL will invest Rs 5000 crore for optical cable network in state. Infosys and TCS will also be investing Rs 5000 crore and Rs 2300 crore respectively. Apart from them Adani Power and Paytm will also be investing in the state.

Important to mention here that on 21-22 Februrary 2018 UP Investors Summit was held in which many MoU's were inked. These business investments are happening after that.

India inked MoU with UAE on - Artificial Intelligence

On 28th July 2018, India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) inked MoU in the field of artificial intelligence with an aim to boost their economies in this field. UAE Minister for Artificial Intelligence Omar bin Sultan Al Olama and Managing director and CEO of Invest India Mr Deepak Bagla inked MoU to create a "Artificial Intelligence Bridge" with an aim to get USD 20 billion in economic benefits in next decade.
