ISRO to launch Aditya L-1 Mission to study the Sun in -  2019

The ISRO ( India Indian Space Research Organization) will be launching its 1st solar mission Aditya-L1 in 2019. It will be ISRO's and India's 1st dedicated mission towards the study of the Sun.
Themain goal of thhis mission is to place 1500 kg heavy weight class Aditya-L1 satellite into halo orbit at Lagrangian point L1  which is a point between Sun and Earth. This point is at a distance of approximately 1.5 million km from the earth.
The mission will give observations of Sun's Photosphere, Chromospheres and corona. The particle vehicle’s load will observe particle flux emanating from the Sun and arrive to the L1 orbit and magnetometer payload will calculate the variation in magnetic field strength at the halo orbit.
The satellite will carry some additional vehicle’s load with enhanced scope and aims. These vehicle’s load are:

    • Visible Emission Line Coronagraph: It will  be observing the diagnostic parameters of solar corona and birth of Coronal Mass Ejections and magnetic field calculation of solar corona.
    • Solar Ultraviolet Imaging Telescope: It will show the spatially resolved Solar Photosphere and Chromospheres near Ultraviolet (200-400 nm) and will calculate solar irradiance variations.
    • Aditya Solar wind Particle Experiment: The variation of solar wind properties and its distribution and spectral characteristics are supposed to be observed by this experiment.
    • Plasma Analyser Package for Aditya: It will be studying the composition of solar wind and its energy distribution.
    • Solar Low Energy X-ray Spectrometer: It will record the X-ray flares for observing the heating process of the solar corona.
    • High Energy L1 Orbiting X-ray Spectrometer: It will be studying the dynamic events in the solar corona and provide an idea of the energy used to accelerate the particles during the eruptive processes.
    • Magnetometer: It will calculate the magnitude and nature of the Interplanetary Magnetic Field.
