Amma two-wheeler scheme in Tamil Nadu launched by - Prime Minister
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated subsidised Amma 2-wheeler Scheme destined for working women on the eve of past CM Jayalalithaa’s 70th birthday. He also initiated 70 lakh trees sapling lanting initiative.
More about Amma two-wheeler Scheme- Under the scheme, each and every recipient will be given 50 percent of cost of a 2-wheeler or contribution of Rupees 25,000. It will cover 1 lakh working women yearly.
- The subsidised 2-wheeler scheme for working women is an election-promise of earlier Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa.
- During the 2016 Assembly election, she had assured 50 percent subsidy for women to buy 2-wheelers.
Blue coloured Bal Aadhaar launched by - UIDAI
Unique Identification Authority of India, has rollout ‘Bal Aadhaar’, designed for kids under five years of
age. Bal Aadhaar exactly means Aadhaar of Kids. It will have blue colour to distinguishing it with routine
Aadhaar. It will be connected with one of parent’s Aadhaar card. No biometric details will be seized.
Requirement- Biometrics are not established for children earlier five years of age. Hence, during Aadhar enrolment child’s Aadhaar information does not contain biometric information including fingerprints and eye scan.
Key Points - Bal Aadhaar will have no biometric information, because their parents will be additional to their child when any such documentation is needed.
- However, once the child crosses five years of age, then normal Aadhaar will be supplied, which will have the biometric particulars.
- Bal Aadhaar will not the need, but it may be needed when child grows-up, and put on for Government scholarships or various grants for advanced education.
- Aadhaar rules order obligatory conversion of all Bal Aadhaar cards into appropriate Aadhaar card with biometric details once the kid attains five years of age.

- It is an inter?governmental policy making unit that objects to found international standards for opposing money-laundering and terrorist financing.
- It was recognized throughout the G7 Summit in Paris in 1989 to oppose the raising issue of money-laundering.
- It consists of more than 39-member nations including India. Financial Action Task Force Secretariat is held at the headquarters of the OECD in Paris. Originally, Financial Action Task Force was handling only emerging policies to oppose money-laundering.
- But in 2001 its resolution was increased to perform against terrorism financing.
