India conducts successful test of Prithvi Defence Vehicle on - 23rd September 2018
India on September 23rd, 2018 completed an effective test of its Indian designed ballistic missile defence system off the coast of Odisha. With the test, India attained a main milestone in evolving a 2 layers Ballistic Missile Defence system.
The mission, known as Prithvi Defence Vehicle mission, focused to involve targets in the exo-atmosphere area at an altitude directly above 50 kilometres of the earth's atmosphere. The test was directed from Abdul Kalam Island, previously known as Wheeler Island of the Integrated Test Range.

differentiation. There are 2 types of stem cells widely used-
1. Embryonic stem cells that come from three to five days old human embryos. They are collected during process called in-vitro fertilization. They are called as pluripotent stem cells. These cells can produce virtually any other type of cell in the body.
2. Induced pluripotent stem cells that can differentiate into all types of specialized cells in body. They can possibly harvest new cells for any organ or tissue.
PM launched world’s largest healthcare scheme named - Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana
PM Narendra Modi initiated determined Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, under Ayushman Bharat
parasol at Ranchi, Jharkhand. The scheme goals to deliver yearly health insurance cover of Rupees five

Odisha government changed norms in food and procurement policy for - KMS
The Odisha government finalised to help the entry of more small and marginal farmers and sharecroppers into the procurement fold. For this, the standards of Food and Procurement Policy for the Kharif Marketing Season 2018-19 is to be altered. A faltering target to acquire 55 lakh tonnes of paddy from farmers has been finalised which will be approximately 37 lakh tonnes in terms of rice. Previously, the Cabinet permitted the Food and Procurement Policy for Kharif Marketing Season 2019. As per to the policy for Kharif Marketing Season, the paddy or Kharif crop will be acquired between November 2018 and April 2019. The Rabi crop will be acquired from May to June 2019.
The Central government has fixed the Minimum Support Price for the farmers as Rupees 1,750/quintal for the common variety of paddy and Rupees 1,770 for Grade-A variety.RBI shortlisted 5 IT firms for implementation of Centralised information and Management System

Political candidates cannot be disqualified on basis of criminal charges - Supreme Court
The Supreme Court governed on September 25th, 2018 that political candidates cannot be prohibited from contesting elections just because of offences been mounted against them in a criminal case.
The governing was passed by a 5-judge bench of the Supreme Court, which was led by Chief Justice Dipak Misra and encompassed Justices R.F.Nariman, A.M.Khanwilkar, D.Y.Chandrachud and Indu Malhotra.

Mike Krieger is the Chief Technical Officer, while Kevin Systrom is the CEO. They initiated the photo-sharing application in 2010 and traded it to Facebook in 2012 for approximately USD One billion.

Supreme Court constitutes committee to look into jail reforms on - 25th September 2018

The committee led by former Supreme Court judge Justice Amitava Roy will investigate the characteristic of jail reforms around the nation and recommend measures to handle them.
