Who has announced 10 New/Revised Schemes for Disabled Persons under the National Trust - Union Government
On 24th November 2015, 10 new/revised schemes for the disabled persons were launched by Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Thaawar Chand Gehlot.

Where did the 10th East Asia Summit held - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
On 22nd November 2015, The 10th East Asia Summit (EAS) was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with the theme "Our People, Our Community, Our Vision".
Prime Minister of Malaysia Najib Razak chaired the summit and was attended by the Heads of State/Government of ASEAN Member States, the United States of America, New Zealand, China, India, Japan, Korea, Russia and Australia.
The participant leaders reaffirmed their commitment to
- The 2011 Declaration of the EAS on the Principles for Mutually Beneficial Relations
- The 2010 Ha Noi Declaration on the Commemoration of the 5th Anniversary of the EAS
- The 2005 Kuala Lumpur Declaration on the Establishment of the EAS
Who has appointed Chairperson of Target Olympic Podium Scheme - Anju Bobby George
On 24th November 2015, Anju Bobby George, was appointed as the chairperson of the Target Olympic Podium Scheme (TOPS).
Union Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs approved her appointment.
At present she is a member of the TOPS' identification committee.
Who has launched its first dedicated commercial satellite launch - Japan
On 23rd November 2015, first dedicated commercial satellite was launched by Japan by launching Canadian communications spacecraft, Telstar 12V.
It was launched through a H-IIA rocket that blasted off from Pad 1 of the Yoshinobu Launch Complex at Japan’s Tanegashima Space Centre.
Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency in collaboration with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries launched the satellite.
Name the Writer, Journalist who passed away - Mahip Singh
On 24th November 2015, Mahip Singh, the famous Hindi writer, columnist and journalist, passed away at the age of 85.
He was famous for his collection of short stories. His fammous novels are Bich ki Dhoop, Abhi Shesh Hai and Ye Bhi Nhi.
For past 45 yeras, he was the editor of literary magazine Sanchetna. He had established Bhartiya Lekhak Sangathan in 1978.
Which Distinguished football administrator has died - TR Govindarajan
On 24th November 2015, one of the long-standing and distinguished football administrators of Tamil Nadu, TR Govindarajan passed away ath the age of 90.
He had served various responsibilities in Tamil Nadu Football Association for 24 years. After that he had served as Treasurer, Assistant Secretary and Vice-President of Tamil Nadu Football Association.
About TR Govindarajan
- Since 1958, he was a National referee.
- In 1978, after the institution of Madras Football Association, he was the first Secretary of it.
- He had served as the Secretary of Netaji Sports Club till 2006.
Name the renowned labour economist who has passed away - TS Papola
On 23rd November 2015, Veteran Labour Economist Dr TS Papola passed away at the age of 74.
He was specialised in industrial economics, enterprise development, labour and employment, regional development and development planning. From 1987 to 1995, he had served as an advisor with the erstwhile Planning Commission of Union Government.
About TS Papola
• He was founder member at the Institute for Studies in Industrial Development (ISID), New Delhi and Institute for Human Development (IHD). • He was honoured with Kautilya Award (2007), VKRV Rao Young Social Scientist Prize. • He had a rich experience in teaching and research. • He had also served as Chairman and Member of several State and National level bodies.
He had also served as a member of Prime Minister’s Advisory Council on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
