PM Narendra Modi announced 745 Crore Package For Jammu and Kashmir

 On 23rd October 2014, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced Rs 745 Crore Package for J&K. Rs. 175 crore was announced for renovation of six major hospitals and Rs 570 crore for the rebuilding homes damaged in the recent floods in Jammu & Kashmir. Apart from this PM also assured all assistance from the centre to the state for any help. 

Jammu & Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah briefed the Prime Minister about the current situation of J&K during his visit.

Kosovo given go-ahead by IOC to take part in Olympics 2016

International Olympic Committee has cleared the recognition of Kosovo to be a part of Olympics games 2016, which made a news in Sports Current Affairs. A former Serbia province Kosovo will now able to send his team to the Olympics.
