Jitu Rai get first gold medal for India in 17th Asian Games

On 20th September 2014, Indian Ace shooter Jitu Rai clinched Gold medal in the 50 m pistol event on the very first day of 17th Asian Games at Ongnyeon International Shooting Range in Incheon. 

Do you Know :

This was first Gold medal of India, but first medal was won by Shweta Chaudhry which was a bronze in the 10m air pistol event. Till now India has won total 4 medals, 1 is gold and 3 are bronze.

India's Mar Orbiter set to enter orbit of mars on September 24th

Spacecraft launched by India on 5th of November 2013, after a long journey in space is all set to enter into its target. On 24th September 2014 it will be entering the Mars orbit which will be very crucial for this project.
