Name of the Indian shuttler who won silver in Korea Open Super Series - Ajay Jayaram

Among the Important Sports Current Affairs, Noted Indian shuttler Ajay Jayaram won silver medal at Korea Open Super Series event. He got defeated by World No. 1 Chen Long of China in the final, but he played really well to play finals.

He lost finals by 14-21 13-21.

Stanchart revises FY16 CAD forecast to - 1.5% of GDP

As per Standard Chartered Lower commodity prices are unlikely to narrow India’s current account deficit (CAD). It was said by Standard Chartered while revising its CAD forecast for the fiscal to 1.5 per cent which was just 1.1 percent earlier.

As per it, the positive impact of lower commodity prices are likely to be offset by a slowing export volumes due to weak global demand and the continued gradual recovery in the economy.

It also revised 2015-2016 balance-of-payments (BoP) surplus forecast to USD 31.7 billion from USD 48.5 billion to reflect a wider current account deficit and lower capital flows.

Which Indian airport was awarded with best airport award - Indira Gandhi International Airport

Among the National Current Affairs, Indira Gandhi International Airport of Delhi was awarded with Best Airport Award (under class X cities category) for 2013-14 by President Pranab Mukherjee, it was a part of National Tourism Awards (NTA). 

The best airport awards were judged on seven parameters including tourist-friendly infrastructure, maintenance and upkeep, adaptation of eco-friendly practices, availability of transport facility from airport to nearest city center and facilities for the physically challenged persons.
