Among Important Sports Current Affairs, On 19th June 2016, Indian Archery team of Deepika Kumari and Atanu Das won silver medal at Archery World Cup in Antalya, Turkey.
Gold medal was clinched by South Korea.

Korea Plus initiative is taken to strengthen relations between - India and South Korea

On 18th June 2016, India and South Korea launched an Initiative Korea Plus with an aim to promote Korean investments in India. This was launched by Commerce & Industry Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Minister of Trade, Industry & Energy, Government of Korea Joo Hyunghwan.
This initiative will look into assisting Korean companies entering Indian market and resolving their issues by providing information and conselling.
Ministry of Industry, Trade and Energy, Govt of India and Korea Trade Investment and Promotion Agency (KOTRA) representatives will be part of it.

On 16th June 2016, URJA Mobile application was launched by Union Minister of State (IC) for Power, Coal and New and Renewable Energy Piyush Goyal with an aim to enhance consumer connect with the Urban Power Distribution sector.
It was launched in South Goa during a conference.
This app was developed by Power Finance Corporation Ltd.

World refugee day was observed on - 20th June

On 20th June 2016, World Refugee Day was observed across the globe with an aim to raise issue of plight of refugees and to solve their problems.

X-57 Hybrid Electric Research Plane was unveiled by - NASA

On 17th June 2016, National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) unveiled  X-57 Hybrid Electric Research Plane. It was nicknamed by NASA as Maxwell.
There are 14 electric motors in this plane and this plane will be used to test new propulsion technology.
