International Children's Peace Prize 2014 bagged by Indian-American Neha Gupta
On 18th November 2014, 18-year-old Indian American Neha Gupta was was awarded with the prestigious International Children's Peace Prize 2014. She was honoured with this award for her work to help orphans in India and other vulnerable children.
With this award she became first ever American to be awarded with the prize.

Neha Gupta has helped 25000 vulnerable children through her organization by raising over 1.3 million US dollar.
Noted Japanese Actor Ken Takakura passed away
Noted Japanese actor Ken Takakura passed away on 10th November 2014 at a hospital in Tokyo at the age of 83.
He starred more than 200 films and his last film was Dearest.
IITF 2014 inaugurated by President Pranab Mukherjee in New Delhi
On 14th November 2014, India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2014 was inaugurated by President Pranab Mukherjee at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.
This international fair is scheduled to held from 14th November 2014 to 27th November 2014 which is being conducted by India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO).

Cricketer Suresh Raina became co-owner of Uttar Pradesh Wizards in HIL
On 17th November 2014, Noted Indian batsman Suresh Raina became co-owner of Hockey India League (HIL) franchise team, Uttar Pradesh Wizards.
After Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni (who is associated with the Ranchi franchise) he became second cricketer to get associated with HIL.
25th ASEAN Summit held in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar
25th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit was held in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar. It was held from 12th November 2014 to 13th November 2014.
Theme was was about Moving forward in Unity to a Peaceful and Prosperous Community.
ASEAN summit was chaired by Myanmar for the first time.
It is also important to mention here that on the sidelines of the 25th ASEAN Summit, 9th East Asia Summit was also held in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar on 13th November 2014 and 12th ASEAN-India Summit was also held in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar on 12th November 2014.
