He was granted for his effective services to the Houston Police department in the state of Texas of United States.
Houston Mayor Anise Parker and Police Chief Charles A McClelland presented the award to Saini who hails from Hoshiarpur district of Punjab.

For major companies devoted to 100% renewable power RE100 is a global platform.
Some of the world’s most dominant companies were joined by Infosys such as Formula E, H&M, KPN, Mars, IKEA, Swiss Re, BT, Nestlé, Philips, among others, which are taking bold steps to create transformative change needed to drive a clean energy revolution.
Infosys is working to reduce its per capita electricity consumption by 50% from its 2007-2008 levels and by 2018 source all its electricity from renewable resources.
Who has sworned in as first woman Governor of Jharkhand - Draupadi Murmu
Among the important National Current Affairs, On 18th May 2015, Draupadi Murmu was sworn in as the first woman Governor of Jharkhand since the state was granted statehood status after seprating from Bihar. She has became the ninth Governor of Jharkhand.
She has replaced Syed Ahmed who was transferred as Governor of Manipur by President Pranab Mukherjee recently. Oath of the office of Murmu under the provisions of Article 159 of Constitution of India was administered by Jharkhand High Court Chief Justice Virendra Singh.
Which state will host the Paragliding World Cup 2015 - Himachal Pradesh
Among the important National Current Affairs, From 23rd October to 31st October 2015, Himachal Pradesh will host the Paragliding World Cup at Bir Billing in Kangra valley. The world cup will be held under the sponsorship of Para-gliding World Cup Association, France.
India will be hosting the Paragliding World Cup for the first time which will see participation from over 50 countries. The state was chosen to host the World Cup after it successfully conducted the paragliding pre-World Cup-2013.
With which company did Reliance Jio has signed pact for sourcing 4G devices - Huawei
On 18th May 2015, Reliance Jio Infocomm, a telecom subsidiary of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), signed a pact with Chinese telecom equipment manufacturer firm Huawei for sourcing various 4th Generation (4G) devices.
As per the pact, Huawei will supply 4G devices to Reliance Jio including mifi dongles, tablets and smartphones. This pact will help Reliance in launching 4G service in around 5000 towns and cities in India by 2015. It will cover over 2.15 lakh villages and over 90% of urban India.
