Hockey Champions Trophy 2016 was won by - Australia

Among Important Sports Current Affairs, On 18 June 2016, Hero Hockey Champions Trophy 2016 was clinched by Australia  by defeating India in the finals held at Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre in London.
India played well but was defeating in shoot out by 1-0. It was 14th time Australia won this trophy. Silver medal went to India while Bronze medal was won by Germany.

IT Innovation Start-up Fund to assist start-ups was launced by - SBI

Among Important Banking Current Affairs, SBI launched IT Innovation Start-up Fund to support start-ups in the financial technology (fintech) space with a corpus of 200 crore rupees.
