FIFA World Cup 2018 final - France won on 15th July 2018

France , a multi cultural team has won  their second WORLD cup 2018 on 15th July 2018 held in Russia .  This victory is followed 20 years after Zinedine Zidane had led the first victory to home in 1998. France won this match against Croatia  against 14 attempts from Croatia and  7 attempts from France.

• This 21st FIFA World cup started from 14th june and ended on 15th July.
• This most expensive , with an estimated cost of $14.2 billion world cup held in  Russsia.
• France won this match with 4-2 and bagged its second world cup title.

India becomes Regional Head of - Asia Pacific Region in WCO

From July 2018 to June 2020 ( Two Years ), India has became the Vice Chair of the Asia Pacific Region of World Customs Organisation (WCO).
Important to mention here that WCO has divided its membership into six regions. Each region is represented by regionally elected Vice-Chairperson to the WCO Council. Vice Chair position in WCO in Asia Pacific Region will enable India to take on the leadership role in the organisation.
