When was World Elder Abuse Awareness Day observed - 15th June 2016

On 15th June 2016, World Elder Abuse Awareness Day was observed globally with an aim to raise voice against abuse on older people.
With time older abuse is increasing in our society so to raise this concern this day was chosen by United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on 19 December 2011.

Which state inaugurated Child Labour Tracking System - Bihar

On 12th June 2016, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar launched Child Labour Tracking System to keep a track of rescued child labour so that their proper rehabilitation can be done.
Every single child which will be rescued from child labour will be given Rs 25000 from CM relief fund.

Name of planet found which has two suns - Kepler-1647b

Astronomers of NASA and San Diego State University (SDSU) have discovered a new planet which is orbiting two stars. Name of planet is Kepler-1647b. It is largest cosmic body found till now.
It is estimated to be 3700 light-years away from earth and its age is about 4.4 billion years.

It was discovered using Kepler space telescope of NASA, so it was named after it.
This planet takes 1107 days to orbit its two stars and this planet is like Jupiter as it also has a gas gaint around it.

Which country elected to chair Legal committee of UN - Israel

On 13th June 2016, Israel was elected to chair Legal Committee of United Nations General Assembly. It is the first time ever Israel has been elected to chair any committee of UN General Assembly.
In total UN has six committees and Legal Committee is also known as sixth Committee. Following are the six committees of UN General Assembly :

On 14th June 2016, Special court for the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) declared Vijay Mallya as a Proclaimed offender in a loan diversion case and issued proclamation under Section 82 of Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) against him.
Earlier on 10th June 2016, Enforcement Directorate (ED) had filed a petition against Vijay Mallya as he was suspected to have diverted 430 crores loan of IDBI bank to his Kingfisher airlines.
