On 14th November 2016 which day is observed across the world - World Diabetes Day

Among Important International Current Affairs, on 14th November 2016 The World Diabetes Day 2016 was observed across the world with the theme Eyes on Diabetes. 

However, many activities were conducted with the main focus on promoting the importance of screening to ensure early diagnosis of type 2 Diabetes and also treatment to reduce the risk of serious complications.

Researchers isolate what in chicken transmitting multidrug resistant pathogen to humans – Bacterium

Among Important National Current Affairs, researchers from Hyderabad have isolated Helicobacter pullorum bacterium in chicken that may be source of transmission of the multidrug resistance pathogen to humans. 

However, this is known to be the first evidence on prevalence and isolation of H. pullorum multidrug resistance bacterium from broilers and free-range chicken sold in Indian markets.

World Pneumonia Day is celebrated across the world on - 12th November

Among Important International Current Affairs, on 12th November 2016 The World Pneumonia Day is observed across the World to generate awareness about the ‘pneumonia’ disease. 

However, this day aims to highlight the severity of pneumonia and bring together the people from all over the world to promote the prevention and treatment of the disease. 

Also the 2016 Theme is: “Keep the Promise, Stop Pneumonia Now”.

36th India International Trade Fair begins in - New Delhi

Among Important National Current Affairs, like every year the 36th edition of India International Trade Fair (IITF) has started at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. 

However, it will be held from 14th to 18th November 2016. 

Here, the fair was inaugurated by the President Pranab Mukherjee, with the main theme which is Digital India.
