In Madhya Pradesh where was first Mega Food Park inaugurated - Panwa
On 12th February 2016, 1st Mega Food Park (MFP) of Madhya Pradesh was inaugurated at Panwa village in Kasarwad tehsil of Khargone district. Union Minister of Food Processing Industries Harsimrat Kaur Badal inaugurated this park.
M/s Indus mega Food Part Pvt. Ltd set up this food park with an estimated cost of 127.70 crore rupees. This park has been built in area of approx 54 acres. It is expected that it will provide employment to more than 6000 people and will be benefiting about 30000 farmers.
It will benefit the people of Khargone district and the people of nearby districts of Indore, Ratlam, Ujjain, Dhar, Khandwa, Dewas & Barwani as well.
World Radio Day was observed on - 13th February
On 13th February 2016, World Radio day was observed across the globe. Theme for this year was "Radio in Times of Emergency and Disaster". In we talk about India then in Odisha, a two-day annual international event Outreach International Radio Fair 2016 was inaugurated in Bhubaneswar.

Make in India week event stage went up in flames, where this unfortunate thing happened - Girgaum Chowpatty Mumbai
On 14th February, A fire broke out at Make in India week stage at Mumbai's iconic Girgaum Chowpatty beach during a performance. The entire stage went up in flames within minutes, leading to immediate evacuation. All dignitaries, including CM Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray, Governor Vidyasagar Rao, several film personalities and foreigners were evacuated.
Who was appointed as new Secretary Of DIPP - Ramesh Abhishek
On 13th February 2016, Former Forwards Markets Commission (FMC) chairman Ramesh Abhishek was appointed as secretary in the department of industrial policy and promotion (DIPP). He will be responsible for for implementing some of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's key initiatives like "Make in India" and "Start up India".
He succeeds Amitabh Kant, who will head to Niti Aayog, as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Mr Ramesh Abhishek is 1982 batch Bihar cadre Indian Administrative Service officer, will take over the charge after 29th Feb.
Apart from this, Girish Shankar, secretary, Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs has been appointed secretary, Department of Heavy Industry and Public Enterprises.
