Name of veterian actor who has been confered with Padma Vibhushan award - Dilip Kumar
Among Important National Current Affairs, On 13th December 2015 Legendary actor Dilip Kumar was presented Padma Vibhushan by Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh.
On this occasion Maharashtra Governor C Vidyasagar Rao and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis were also present.
Important to mention here that Dilip Kumar was not able attend the special function held at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in April when other Padma awardees were honoured by President Pranab Mukherjee.

- Apart from this he has been honoured with Padma Bhushan award in 1991 and Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1994.
Sharad Joshi passes away, he was a - Renowned Agro-economist
Renowned agro-economist Sharad Joshi passes away in Pune. He was 81 years old. He was veteran leader of farmers and was founder of Shetakari Sanghtana. This was a NGO dedicate4d to the cause of farmers in Maharashtra.
He had served as a member of Advisory Board of the World Agricultural Forum (WAF).
Diesel-run vehicles were banned by NGT in - Delhi
NGT has ordered to ban on registration of new diesel-run vehicles in Delhi to curb the growing menace of air pollution. NGT bench headed by Chairperson Justice Swatanter Kumar ordered this ban.
Important to mention here that ban on registration of new diesel vehicles will be valid till 6th January 2016 as interim steps i.e. till the next date of hearing of NGT on Delhi pollution.
