Indian Super League inaugurated at Vivekananda Yuva Bharati Krirangan, Kolkata
On 12th October 2014, Opening Ceremony of the Indian Super League (ISL) was held at the Vivekananda Yuva Bharati Krirangan, Kolkata. At this grand inauguration many dignities from bollywood, politics and business were present.

This tournament will conclude on December 20. Total there are nine team participating in this event with a basic objective to promote football in India.
Roger Federer won Shanghai Masters to bag his 81st career title
On 12th October 2014, Roger Federer won Shanghai Masters. He defeated Frenchman Gilles Simon in the final.
It was his 81st career title.
Lewis Hamilton wins F1 Russian Grand Prix
On 12th October 2014, Lewis Hamilton won the inaugural season of Russian Grand Prix. In the same race Nico Rosberg was placed second.
It was fourth straight race won for Lewis Hamilton and was also his ninth won for this season.
Russia's president Vladimir Putin presented him the winner trophy.
