Asian Development Bank to give $275 million loan for rural roads in 5 states
Updated : 12-Feb-2014Asian Development Bank will provide $275 million loan for improving rural road connectivity in five states in the country.
These five state are :
- Assam,
- Chhattisgarh,
- Madhya Pradesh,
- Odisha and
- West Bengal
Important to Note :
- A Joint secretary of Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance and Country Director of ADB signed the pact.
- Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) is the executing agency of the project at the central level and the state governments at the state level for a period of 43 months.
