Annual Grammy Awards for 2014

The Recording Academy announced the 56th Annual Grammy Awards at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California on 26 January 2014.

The Grammy awards are the recording industry’s most prestigious award presented annually by The Recording Academy.

Winners were :

Album of the year:

•   Random Access Memories (Daft Punk)

Record of the year:

•   Get Lucky (Daft Punk , Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers)

New artist:

•   Macklemore and  Ryan Lewis

Song of the year:

•    Royals (Lorde)

Children's album:

•    Throw a Penny in the Wishing Well (Jennifer Gasoi)

Pop solo performance:

•     Royals (Lorde)
