SBI is one of the oldest and most trusted government bank of India. Many candidates aspire to get their jobs in SBI. State Bank of India releases notification for the recruitment of Clerical post. Candidates can apply directly online. Here is the detailed procedure to fill the form online-

SBI Clerk Eligibility Criteria 

Educational Qualification:

• For Junior Associates

Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent. Candidates in the final semester/year can also appear for this exam.

• For Junior Agricultural Associates

Graduation in agriculture or agriculture allied activities from a govt. recognized University/Institute.

 Age Limit

Required age is between 20 to 28 years. Age relaxation provided to reserved categories candidates.

Nationality

Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply for the given post.

Selection Procedure

Selection procedure includes three steps – Preliminary Exams and Mains

Exam Pattern

There is negative marking of 1/4th marks for each wrong answer (negative marking applicable for both the exams).

Preliminary Exam

It’s an online test consisting of objective Questions in three sections – English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability for 100 marks. This exam is conducted normally in May/June. Candidates who clear this exam are qualified for the Mains.

Mains Exam

Main examination will consist of 190 objective-type questions for 200 marks. The questions will be divided into various sections such as General / Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude. The exam duration is 2 hour 40 minutes. The main exam question paper is set in English & Hindi languages both. Marks secured in the Mains are considered as the final scores for the post.

• Quantitative Aptitude – Maths of class X level

• Logical Reasoning – verbal and non-verbal logical reasoning

• Marketing – marketing concepts and banking products

• Computers – General knowledge of Hardware and software

• Current Affairs – General knowledge and current affairs

• English Language – Reading and writing skills and questions from language , Vocabulary , Synonyms, Antonyms, Word formation, Sentence completion, Grammar, Idioms , Phrases.
