    ELIGIBILITY for SBI Clerk

    Educational Qualification:

    • Graduation from any recognized university and board.
    • Students who are currently doing their final semester can also apply.

    Age Limit:

    The lower limit age is 20 years and the upper limit age is 28 years. Age relaxation provided to reserved categories like SC/ST/OBC etc.

    Pattern for SBI Clerk Examination

    • Preliminary examination:  this exam will be conducted online and will there would be three sections in the examination namely quantitative, reasoning, English and total number of marks will be 100. Candidates will have only 1 hour to complete the paper
    • Main examination:  this exam will also be conducted online. Total time allotted is 2 hour 40 minutes. Main examination will consist of 190 objective-type questions for 200 marks and with only 160 minutes which gives almost 50 seconds per question you won’t have a lot of time.
    • Hindi and English will be the only two language options in the mains exam.
    • Negative marking is exercised in both exams.

    QUANTITATIVE SECTION PREPARATION FOR SBI CLERK

    This section contains all the mathematical questions which require paper works. To be an expert in the quant section of this exam, you need to practice almost 10 to 20 questions per day. If you fell uncertain about any difficult question the redo the question again and again to find where you were going wrong and once you find the mistake, refer to a solution book to get it right.

    SALARY OF AN SBI CLERK

    The salary of a newly recruited clerk is Rs. 7200. After 3 years, Rs. 400 is added to their job package every year till their salary becomes Rs. 8400. After next 3 years, they get 3 promotions in their basic pay as it increases Rs. 500 per year to reach to Rs. 9900. After the next three years, they get an increase in their salary for Rs. 300 till their salary reaches Rs. 12300. This continues till the basic pay reaches Rs. 19300.
