CMC Vellore – How To Apply?
Updated : 15-Jun-2017CMC Vellore which means Christian Medical College is a Christian minority, educational college established in the year of 1900. However, it offers admissions to students in various UG, PG courses, diploma and doctoral courses in medical field which includes MBBS, Nursing, B.Sc, M.Sc, etc.
Earlier, they used to organize a series of entrance tests for admissions in different courses. But from the year 2016, the admission to MBBS course is being done on the basis of NEET Score which is followed by an aptitude test set by CMC.

Please Note: CMC Vellore Application Form will be available only online through the official website of the authority. From the Third week of February, the application form will be released.
However, the last date to submit the online application will be the Fourth week of March. From 2nd week of November to 25th January of the following year, the application form for admission to PG medical, diploma and fellowship Programme has been available. Also the application form will be submitted through the online mode.
Don’t forget, those candidates who are paying through DD or Challan then their original demand draft or challan is needed to be sent to the registrar’s office before the due date.
Know About the Eligibility Criteria of CMC Vellore -
• Interested candidates must have a valid ‘NEET’ score.
• Candidates also have passed 12th or equivalent exam with subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects.
• For all general candidates minimum marking should be 60% in each of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology while for SC/ST candidates it should be 40% marks.
• Also candidates must have been born on or before 31 Dec 1999.
• Keep in mind that improvement marks in 12th will not be considered.
Have a look on the CMC Vellore Exam Pattern -
• The CMC Vellore Exam will be conducted on CBT mode (Computer Based Test).
• The question paper will be asked in English language only.
• Objective type questions will be there.
• However, for degree courses the exam has been divided into two parts.
• Section I will have 60 questions, which is to be answered in 50 minutes and Section II (Speed and Accuracy) will have 60 questions, which is to be answered in 20 minutes.
• 1 hours + 10 minutes will be the total exam duration.
• Also for diploma courses the question paper will contain 25 questions from PCB subjects and 15 questions from general ability.
