AIIMS MBBS & it’s Important Highlights
Updated : 16-Jun-2017We all know that AIIMS MBBS entrance exam is considered as one of the most competitive undergraduate medical entrance exam of India because of analytical questions and large number of applicants.
However, in year 2016, approximately 1.5 lakh candidates have registered for the AIIMS MBBS entrance exam.
As next year is very near, according to official release, online application form of AIIMS MBBS will be available from second week of February only. Those candidates who are willing to give this exam have to complete the online registration within the month from the beginning date of application form.

AIIMS MBBS Exam Pattern
Single paper of 3:30 hour’s durations. There will be 200 multiple choice questions (MCQs). Each of the four sections namely physics, chemistry, biology will have 60 questions and 20 question from General Knowledge section
Marking scheme
+1 Mark for correct answer and negative marking of -1/3 (one third) mark for incorrect answers

AIIMS MBBS Eligibility Details -
Those candidates who are going to apply for AIIMS MBBS entrance exam should read the eligibility criteria to ascertain their age and qualification as required by examination authority, AIIMS New Delhi.
· Nationality: Candidates must be Indian nationals. Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) are also eligible
· Please Note: Foreign candidates are not required to appear for the entrance examination
· Age Limit: Candidates must complete 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before December 31.
· Birth Date: Candidates must have born on or after January 2, 2000 are not eligible
· Education Qualification: Applicants have passed the 12 Class with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects from Senior School Certificate Examination (CSBE) or Intermediate Science (I.Sc.) or same examination from a recognized University/ Board
· Also those candidates who will appear for 10+2/HSC can also apply for AIIMS MBBS 2017
· Candidates who are General and OBC must have passed 10+2/HSC in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with 60% marks while for SC/ST the qualifying marks is 50%.

Know About AIIMS MBBS Admit Card –
Though, the admit card of AIIMS MBBS will be available in May. AIIMS MBBS admit card will be available for those candidates only whose application form will be accepted. Candidates can also download their admit card by entering the application number and password. However, after downloading the admit card candidates are also advised to verify all the entries in the admit card such as name, address, exam roll number, photograph, signature, allotted exam center, etc.
