Average formula
Average formula is very basic but very important in examination point of view. If you will check the last years questions in the quantitative examinations then you will find that many questions have been asked which were based on average formula.
\begin{aligned}
\text{ Average =}\frac{\text{Sum of observations}}{\text{Number of observations}} \\
\end{aligned}
for example, lets apply average formula to get average of 1,2,3,4,5
then,
\begin{aligned}
\text{ Average =}\frac{1+2+3+4+5}{5} = 3 \\
\end{aligned}
But please be informed that in exam this type of question will not be asked, so practise advance level of questions.
